This Cookie Policy explains how Ayok IT Solutions Limited (trading as PilotVantage) ("PilotVantage") uses cookies and similar technologies on pilotvantage.com and app.pilotvantage.com. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember your actions and preferences (such as staying signed in) over time. Some are essential for a service to work; others are optional.

2. How we use cookies

We keep our use of cookies deliberately minimal. PilotVantage uses strictly necessary cookies — the ones required to sign you in securely and protect the service — and, only with your consent, Google Analytics cookies that help us understand how our public website and documentation are used. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell your data.

Analytics is opt-in

Strictly necessary cookies are exempt from the consent requirement under UK privacy law (PECR), because the service cannot function without them. Analytics cookies are different: they are never set unless you choose "Accept all" on our cookie banner. Choosing "Essential only" loses you nothing.

4. Analytics & third parties

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC) on our public marketing website, documentation and blog to understand aggregate usage — which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and how they move through the site. Google Analytics is loaded only after you choose "Accept all"; if you choose "Essential only", no analytics code runs and no analytics cookies are set. We do not run analytics inside the signed-in application, we have not enabled Google's advertising features, and Google Analytics 4 does not log or store visitor IP addresses. Analytics data may be processed on Google servers outside the UK/EEA under Google's standard contractual safeguards; see Google's privacy policy for details.

We do not run advertising or social-media tracking cookies. Our payment pages are served by Stripe, which may set its own cookies necessary to process payments securely and prevent fraud; see Stripe's cookie policy for details.

5. How to control cookies

You can change your analytics choice at any time: delete the pv_cookie_consent cookie (or clear cookies for this site) and the banner will ask again on your next visit. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings — but because some cookies are strictly necessary, blocking those may stop you from signing in or using the platform.
